Kemerburgaz-Ataburgaz Social Complex

Description

The Social Solidarity and Cooperation Foundation of Istanbul, lying on a constructional area of 100,000 m² and a covered area of 40,000 m² at the locality Iskoza, the village Kemerburgaz, Istanbul, is a 1,000-bed capacity facility where any and all needs of elderly people or those with an orthopedic - or mental - handicap are given priority.

This modern facility consists of 6 large hostel buildings, 12 houses of a villa type (90 stand-alone flats), employee houses, a guesthouse, a small mosque, a modern health care center, a dispensary, a mentally handicapped's house, a social center, a cafeteria, an indoor swimming pool, open decorative pools, promenades and playgrounds, a greenhouse and gardens. The foundation features central heating, fully-equipped modern kitchen, laundry sterilization facility, and systems for fire protection and secutiry.
