Alaşehir Grape Alcohol Factory

Description

Constructed at the district Alaþehir, the province Manisa by a consortium of Ekinciler, Limak and Frilli Engineering SpA (Italy), this grape alcohol factory has an annual turnout of 4,000,000 liters of alcohol, 200,000 liters being from fresh grapes and 3,800,000 liters being from raisins. For this annual turnout, 15,000 tons of raisins are processed. The factory was built on an area of 100,687 m². Its units occupying a covered area of 25,000 m² include the fresh grapes receipt and processing facility, the must preparation facility, the fermentation facility, the grape alcohol distillation facility, the alcohol storage, the waste water treatment facility, the raisin warehouse, the transformer-generator buildings, the water storage and conditioning building, the steam plant, the cooling water, the compressed air supply buildings, and the administrative and social facilities.
