Denizli - Baklan Plain Irrigation Part 3

Description

Thanks to this project, an area of 28,026 hectares is irrigated on the right and left banks of the Büyük Menderes river at the districts Çivril and Çal of Denizli.

Constructed/made under this project were:

- the Erenler regulator,
- the BL 1 and Sütlaç pumping stations,
- an access canal, 3,242 m in length,
- a primary canal, 137,389 m in length,
- a traditional reserve canal, 30,840 m in length,
- a traditional tertiary canal, 87,347 m in length,
- a reserve & tertiary canal, with narrower branch canals, 1,131,552 m in length,
- a drainage canal, 414,193 m in length,
- a discharge canal, 23,609 m in length,
- a diversion ditch, 47,682 m in length,
- 707 various artworks,
- 2 driven pile bridges, and
- 400,000 m3 of concrete.
