Description

The full-automatic glasswareplant was built on a total area of 486,000 m² and has a covered area of 34,000 m². The plant is a combination of steel, reinforced concerete and architectural constructions. The oven cooling, finished product warehouse, processing workshop, electrical workshop and raw material warehouse buildings are steel constructions where roof and facade coverings use sandwich panels made of glass fiber insulated, double-wall sheet plates. The management and workers dressing buildings were built totally of gross concrete, using the architectural style of the Safranbolu Houses. The 95-m high flue used a sliding mould design. The plant construction also includes a 37-m high Broken Glass Silo of reinforced concrete and Blending Unit.
